I bought the 512 mb and installed it. Can't believe how quick this thing is even with 3 tabs open. I put it in the second slot. I didn't know which is slot 0 and the instructions said to always put the most memory in slot 0. Does it matter?

It does not make a big difference but, still, usually you can see small markings such as DIMM1 and DIMM2 next to the memory slots. The rule of thumb is that slot 0 is the closest to the processor and the processor is something that has a heatsink with a fan on top of it.
